Bad Moods and Vegetables

I am still on track, just haven't found a lot of time to update on here. I've been busy, had a sick kid with a doctor appointment, a lot of house work to get caught up on and the fact that I was a in weird place this week. Which means that I seemed to be in a mixed state. Swinging between feeling up and then very annoyed at everything and then very down. It is rough and those swings between up and down make it hard on the eating but I did good this week for once. I found that I still had to have some sweets at the times when my mood was on the down swing. It's this weird feeling in my head, like something is missing and eating sweets is all I want to do, because it gives me that good feeling again. I guess do to an inbalance.

I walked everyday this week also. Some days ever two walks, one on the treadmill early and then an evening walk down the road. Getting back on the exercise track has really made me feel better this week.

We have so many fresh fruits and vegetables in the house right now thanks to my parent's garden and back yard for the apple trees. We have red, pink and yellow tomatoes. Also we have a ton of squash, cucumbers, okra and jalapeno peppers. And even have some cantaloupes and apples. I need to get in the kitchen and cook up some squash to fix a casserole for dinner tonight, also making some fried apples. So it's been very easy to get plenty of fruits and vegetables in the past few weeks. The husband says he is having his own garden next year.
